Small Farmyard, the former residence of a royal member – Xitala, was the mansion house of Commander-in-Chief Dage, uncle of Nurhachi. The Farmyard was built in the first of Later Jin and has a history for over 400 years. In spite of the vicissitudes, it still remains Manchu architectural styles and its former appearance for our appreciation. Now the descendants of Xitala developed a “Manchu Small Farmyard” by use of their ancestor’s residence to feast tourists with their ancestral food. Here you can enjoy delicious Manchu food and listen to the stories about Hanwang’s dispatching troops and seizing sate power at the same time.
